Instructions for Oral Presentations

  • Talks are scheduled in 20-minute time slots. We encourage a presentation of 15 minutes to allow 5 minutes for questions.
  • To support oral presentations, the rooms will have a microphone, a computer connected to a multimedia projector and a screen.
  • To use the computer to project the presentation material, the presentation must be uploaded to the Palais Lumière computer one day before the scheduled date of the presentation. For Monday presentations, the file must be uploaded during registration time. Speakers will not be allowed to use their own computer.
  • Each presentation file should be saved either as a Power-point (pptx) or Portable Document Format (PDF). The computer at the venue is Windows. Macintosh users please be sure that your presentation is compatible with a PC. The PDF format is preferred.
  • Be careful of the size of your presentation to avoid problems copying the file or delays between slides during the presentation
  • The size of your slide for your presentation can be the default format 16:9 or 4:3. However, the format 16:9 is preferable.
  • Online presenters can choose to do a live presentation or to upload (or send us) a recorded one which will be broadcast during the symposium by the organization team. If you want to do a live presentation, please upload your presentation in pptx or pdf HERE or send it by email to coregonid2023@symposium.fr by September 20, 2023. If you prefer a recorded version (mp4 video presentation <500 Mo), you must upload the video HERE or send it by email to coregonid2023@symposium.fr by September 20, 2023.
  • Online participants will be able to listen to all oral presentations and present their presentation with a conferencing platform or the committee will share their screen for the recorded presentation. For the recorded presentations, we ask presenters to connect to the videoconferencing platform during the presentation time slot to answer questions.
  • Please, name your file with the session number, followed by an underscore, and then your name:

Example: For a presentation in the Session 2

The name of the file would be:  S2_Anneville
