The special issue of IJL will feature new and original articles dealing with the biology, ecology, physiology, genetic and management of coregonid fishes. It welcomes the submission of extended articles presented at the conference.

IJL offers up-to-date content, connects several areas of freshwater ecosystems, and enables a holistic view of limnology. It offers opportunities for studies of diverse, small and less studied freshwater sites with local and regional impacts as well as specific situations, items and processes with acknowledged references to broader contexts.

We invite you to have a look at the call for papers for more details on the special issue, including guest editors, deadlines, submission and editorial process, and other information.

Information also available on the IJL website.

Topics for the special issue:
1. Physiology, life history and behaviour
2. Population dynamics, habitat and trophic interactions
3. Diseases, parasites and ecotoxicology
4. Genetics and evolutionary ecology
5. Stock assessment, fishery management, conservation and aquaculture
